Task

Your mission: discover, analyse, and solve. As an AI detective, your goal in this WebQuest is to uncover situations where artificial intelligence has been questioned for being unethical, unreliable, or used in a questionable way. You will analyse what went wrong and, most importantly, propose how it could have been handled more responsibly.

You will work in teams to investigate a real case where AI — or how it was used — showed a lack of transparency, fairness, safety, or caused bias or discrimination.

Use your ethical magnifying glass to analyse the case: What happened? Why did it happen? Who was affected? How could it have been avoided? In the end, you will create a detective report where you present your clues, analysis, and conclusions.

With this task, you won’t just understand how AI works, you’ll become part of the change toward a more human and fair technology. Because the future of ethical and safe AI starts with you.
